In late 2007 the founding partners of In Market Auto LLC had the need to sell a couple private party vehicles. While doing research of the online companies which previously dominated the online marketplace we noticed that there were enormous opportunities available to improve the customer's experience of buying and selling new and used vehicles online.
In Market Auto was born from the idea of putting the consumer first by providing a powerful yet easy to use interface which would empower both novice and expert internet users to quickly and simply find the exact vehicle they were looking for.
Over a year of development time our teams worked feverishly to develop an easy to use interface for consumer-to-consumer and dealer-to-consumer car sales. Throughout the development process the customer’s experience and ease of use remained our primary goal.
Though the task was daunting, the team here at In Market Auto came through with a truly innovative design that makes searching, browsing and listing a vehicle online, as simple as possible. It is an interface that truly exceeds the functionality of any pre-existing 3rd party automotive marketplace portal.
